The photographers here in The Bahamas are a special group of people, and I mean that in a good way. On facebook, we have a group named Photographers of the Bahamas.
What I like about this group is the camaraderie everyone has with each other. We talk about technical things and of course critique each others photos. We also do photo-walks in the Nassau area. On these walks we show each other different things for different situations. What is so special, is these men and woman are my direct competition in Nassau, but we are all so willing to help each other out.
Above are photos that I took while on the most recent walk on the Cable Beach Strip. It started out with rain, but several of the group members showed up anyway. We had or usual Nikon VS Canon debate and both teams were in full force. We also had a model on site, that was a true trooper. He stood in the rain for the photographers to take photos. We took landscape photos as well.
